The DDSU666 40 mA is a single-phase smart meter designed for the precise measurement of energy flows in photovoltaic and energy storage systems. It enables bidirectional measurement of power drawn from and fed into the grid, as well as the recording of key electrical parameters.

Current measurement is carried out via an external current transformer with a 40 mA secondary signal. This makes the DDSU666 particularly suitable for installations where higher currents need to be measured without routing the entire load current directly through the energy meter. The DDSU666-G version, for example, is designed for measurement ranges up to 100 A / 40 mA.

The recorded data is transmitted via the RS485 interface using Modbus RTU to the connected inverter or energy management system. The energy meter is therefore suitable for system monitoring, optimising self-consumption and controlling the feed-in power.
