SAJ C6 String Inverters – Maximum efficiency for commercial PV systems

The SAJ C6 series has been developed for demanding photovoltaic systems in the commercial and industrial sectors. Whether for hall roofs, agricultural holdings or decentralised ground-mounted systems – the C6 inverters combine high power, intelligent monitoring and maximum operational reliability in a robust housing.

Maximum energy yields

Thanks to a peak efficiency of 98.8% and a European efficiency of 98.5%, the solar energy generated is converted particularly efficiently into usable alternating current. The units support DC oversizing of up to 150%, enabling high energy yields to be achieved even under varying irradiation conditions.

Flexible system design

Depending on the model, up to 12 independent MPP trackers are available. With an MPP voltage range of 180 to 1000 V and an input voltage of up to 1100 V, the C6 series is ideally suited to module arrays with varying orientations and modern high-performance modules. The high number of MPP trackers ensures optimum energy yield even on complex roof surfaces.

High operational reliability

To ensure reliable continuous operation, the C6 series features numerous integrated protection functions, including:

• Type II DC and AC overvoltage protection
• Grid and insulation monitoring
• Residual current and earth fault monitoring
• Anti-islanding protection
• Integrated DC isolator
• Optional AFCI arc detection to reduce the risk of fire

The robust IP66 enclosure reliably protects the inverter from dust and water, enabling long-term outdoor use.

Intelligent monitoring

Operation is convenient via an LED display and app. Communication options include RS232, RS485 and DRM, as well as optional Wi-Fi, Ethernet, 4G or PLC. This allows systems to be monitored round the clock, parameters to be adjusted remotely and maintenance work to be carried out efficiently.

Robust cooling system

The intelligent fan cooling system ensures reliable operation even at high ambient temperatures. The inverter operates within a temperature range of -30 °C to +60 °C (with power derating above 45 °C) and can be installed at altitudes of up to 4,000 m.
