SAJ R6 String Inverter – Maximum efficiency for commercial photovoltaic systems

The SAJ R6 series has been specially developed for medium-sized to large photovoltaic systems in the commercial and industrial sectors. With power ratings ranging from 25 to 50 kW, state-of-the-art power electronics and comprehensive protection functions, the R6 series offers a cost-effective and reliable solution for professional PV projects.

High energy yields

The maximum efficiency of 98.8% ensures particularly efficient conversion of solar energy. The inverters support string currents of up to 16 A, making them ideally suited to modern high-performance solar modules. Depending on the model, 3 or 4 independent MPP trackers are available, allowing for optimal compensation for different roof orientations and partial shading.

Flexible for demanding installations

With a maximum DC input voltage of 1100 V, an MPP voltage range of 180 to 1000 V and a rated voltage of 600 V, the R6 series offers a high degree of flexibility in string configuration. The units are designed for three-phase grids and cover applications ranging from small commercial installations to larger industrial projects.

Comprehensive protection

The R6 inverters come as standard with numerous integrated protection functions:

• Integrated DC disconnect switch
• AC and DC surge protection (SPD)
• Grid and insulation monitoring
• Residual current and earth fault monitoring
• Anti-islanding protection
• Integrated AFCI arc detection
• 110% AC overload capacity for additional power reserves

Smart communication

Operation is conveniently carried out via an LED display and an app. RS232 (USB), RS485 and DRM are available as standard. Optionally, the units can be integrated into a remote monitoring system via Wi-Fi, Ethernet or 4G. 24/7 load monitoring is also available as an option.

Designed for outdoor use

With an IP65 protection rating, intelligent fan cooling and an operating temperature range of –40 °C to +60 °C (with power reduction above 45 °C), the R6 series is also suitable for demanding environmental conditions. Installations at altitudes of up to 4,000 m are possible (with a reduction in performance above 3,000 m).
