Maximum yields and performance

The SMA Sunny Tripower X50 inverter offers an output of up to 50 kW, 5 MPP trackers, each with two string inputs and integrated System Manager functions, thereby enabling the efficient use of high-performance PV modules for high energy yields.

The integrated SMA ShadeFix ensures optimum yields even in the event of partial shading, whilst SMA Smart Connected detects faults at an early stage and automatically notifies you of any malfunctions.

Flexible installation and commissioning

With its compact design, low weight and construction optimised for wall mounting, the SMA Sunny Tripower X50 saves space; furthermore, the Roof Mount Kit offers additional flexibility for horizontal installation.

Commissioning is carried out via an intuitive WebUI, whilst the Sunny Portal powered by ennecOS provides centralised control, remote configuration and dynamic management of active and reactive power to optimise grid stability and efficiency.

Safety of the highest standard

Thanks to SMA ArcFix arc protection, protection class I and overvoltage categories AC III and DC II, the inverter meets high safety and protection requirements. Furthermore, the system complies with the EU RED cybersecurity directive (EN 18031-1) and meets the ETSI EN 3030 645 standard. Patented encryption, automatic firmware updates and data hosting within the EU also provide a high level of IT and data security.
