SAJ AS3-5K-S-W/G-PX-BE – Compact all-in-one energy storage solution with integrated EV charge management

The SAJ AS3-5K-S-W/G-PX-BE is a modern, comprehensive solution for domestic photovoltaic systems. The system combines a hybrid inverter, battery storage, an energy management system (EMS), a battery management system (BMS) and a connection for a 7 kW electric vehicle charging module in a single, space-saving unit.

Thanks to the intelligent plug-and-play design, installation is particularly quick. The individual battery modules are connected to one another without the need for additional cabling and can be expanded at any time. With a depth of just 170 mm, the system blends unobtrusively into almost any domestic installation.

The integrated LiFePO₄ battery storage system operates within a voltage range of 380 to 500 V and can be expanded to include up to eight battery modules. This allows the storage capacity to grow flexibly in line with the household’s requirements.

With a maximum efficiency of 97.6 per cent, the system ensures efficient utilisation of the solar energy generated. To ensure maximum operational reliability, the unit features numerous integrated protection functions, including reverse polarity protection, overcurrent, short-circuit, overvoltage and islanding detection, as well as Type II overvoltage protection.

Communication is conveniently handled via Wi-Fi, Ethernet or, optionally, 4G. The entire energy system can be easily monitored and controlled via an LED display and a smartphone app.

The robust housing, with an IP65 protection rating, allows for both indoor and outdoor installation. In addition, an integrated self-heating system and a fire protection system within the battery ensure reliable operation even at low temperatures.
