Huawei SUN2000-3K / 3.68K / 4K / 4.6K / 5K / 6K-LB0 – Smart hybrid inverters for domestic photovoltaic systems

The Huawei SUN2000-LB0 series comprises state-of-the-art single-phase hybrid inverters with power ratings ranging from 3 to 6 kW. The units have been specially developed for residential buildings and combine high efficiency, integrated battery storage support and intelligent safety features in a compact and durable housing. Thanks to their direct compatibility with Huawei LUNA2000 high-voltage batteries, they offer a future-proof solution for optimising self-consumption and providing emergency power supply.

With a maximum efficiency of 97.8 per cent, two independent MPP trackers and a maximum power point tracker (MPPT) voltage range of 40 to 560 V, the inverters ensure high energy yield even with varying roof orientations. Depending on the model, PV generators with a recommended power of 4.5 to 9.0 kWp can be connected.

Via the integrated battery interface, Huawei LUNA2000-5/10/15-S0 and LUNA2000-7/14/21-S1 high-voltage batteries can be easily integrated via plug-and-play. The maximum charging power is 6,000 W, whilst the discharging power reaches up to 6,600 W, depending on the model. In conjunction with the Huawei SmartGuard 63A S0, the units also provide a backup power supply in the event of a mains failure.

Comprehensive protection functions ensure maximum operational reliability, including active arc fault detection (AFCI), DC and AC overvoltage protection, insulation monitoring, reverse polarity protection, residual current monitoring, and the option to charge the battery from the public mains supply. In addition, Huawei SUN2000-450W-P2 and SUN2000-600W-P power optimisers can be used via the integrated DC-MBUS.

Communication is provided as standard via built-in Wi-Fi, RS485 and the FusionSolar app. Optional Ethernet or 4G connections via Huawei Smart Dongles, as well as integration with EMMA for smart energy management, are available.

With an IP66 protection rating, natural convection cooling without a fan, an operating temperature range of –25 °C to +60 °C and a weight of less than 15 kg, these inverters are ideally suited for long-term use both indoors and outdoors. Their compact design allows for quick and easy installation.
