Maximum safety, reliability and performance

The high-performance BYD HVB high-voltage battery box is manufactured using BYD’s tried-and-tested Blade Battery technology, which is already used in electric vehicles. Its in-house developed, long-lasting LFP cells prevent thermal runaway and offer a capacity guarantee of 15 years or 5,000 cycles.

Flexibly scalable from 5.9 to 89.07 kWh

Thanks to the flexibly scalable capacity ranging from 5.9 to 29.6 kWh, up to ten modules are possible per battery tower. Furthermore, up to three towers with the same power output can be connected in parallel without prior discharge, thereby achieving a maximum total capacity of 89.07 kWh.

The battery towers with 10 modules are just 103 cm high, and a single module is also lightweight. This results in maximum energy density within a compact housing.

Easy installation

The storage unit’s compact, low-profile design and intelligent configuration – featuring automatic SOC adjustment, remote diagnostics and OTA updates – enable straightforward installation, even by a single person. The robust die-cast housing withstands ambient temperatures ranging from -20 to +50 °C, whilst the IP55 protection rating allows for flexible installation both indoors and outdoors.
