The versatile SMA Sunny Island X battery inverter is suitable for use in both on-grid and off-grid systems. Thanks to its modular design, the AC power and battery capacity can be flexibly adjusted. Furthermore, thanks to the integrated DC-DC converter, it offers high compatibility with a wide range of battery types.
Intelligent energy management
In on-grid systems, the inverter optimises energy management and ensures efficient utilisation. Using the Sunny Portal interface powered by ennexOS, all components of the Sunny Island system can be visualised and energy flows monitored.
Full power at high temperatures
The Sunny Island X has a wide operating temperature range and delivers its rated power even at extreme ambient temperatures (up to 45 °C).
